Here at Green Balance Holistic Vet, I aim to seamlessly integrate the best of conventional veterinary medicine with complementary therapies to address your pet's physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Holistic pet care is about looking at the bigger picture. It's about understanding that your pet's health is influenced by various factors, including diet, environment, and emotional well-being. Acupuncture:

This is the practice of placing very fine, sterile needles into acupuncture points found across the body, gently stimulating your pet's natural healing mechanisms to promote overall well-being and balance.

Bespoke Herbal Medicine:

Drawing on traditional wisdom and recent research, I blend personalised herbal combinations tailored to your pet's specific needs, enhancing their vitality and overall well-being.

Nutritional & Lifestyle Advice:

Discuss raw feeding, supplements, and home-cooked diets to ensure your pet's diet is as balanced as possible, laying the foundation for good health. Receive recommendations on exercise routines, mental stimulation, and lifestyle adjustments to enrich both you and your pet's lives, contributing to overall wellness.

 

Chronic Pain Assessments / Arthritis Assessments:

Detailed assessments to identify and manage chronic pain, discussions of medications, supplements, diets and exercise, collaborating with other healthcare providers for comprehensive treatment plans.

 

Chronic and Incurable Diseases:

Specialised care for pets facing longstanding conditions, with a focus on optimising quality of life and vitality whilst providing compassionate support. Tailored health plans designed to optimize your pet's health, whether for preventive care, chronic conditions, or discussions on palliative care.

 

Second Opinions:

Seeking clarity? Or reassurance?  Not sure which is the best path for you and your pet? Too many options (or too few?) As an experienced vet, I provide second opinions, discussing all the options for your pet's care to ensure informed decisions can be made with confidence.

  • What's included/free?
    FREE - Responding to emails/messages - If occasional and very brief (one or two sentences) FREE - Reports sent to physios, hydrotherapists, massage therapist etc - Joining up your pet’s care is so important. FREE - Reports sent to Client FREE - Reports to referring vet
  • Initial consultation
    £130 This is for 60 to 90 minutes with me for new conditions, to go through a full history, clinical examination and to make a plan for treatment going forward. An initial acupuncture treatment may be given, depending on appropriateness. This also includes a full, comprehensive written report with everything discussed, and recommendations made, emailed to you and your vet, plus any other health care providers you request. Excludes any herbal supplements, which will be charged separately and is additional to this charge.
  • Follow up consultation
    £50* This is for 30 to 45 minutes with me to go through a full update, reassessment, clinical examination and to make a continued plan for treatment going forward. A full, comprehensive written report with everything discussed, and recommendations made, emailed to you and your vet, plus any other health care providers you request. *Excludes any herbal supplements, which will be charged separately and is additional to this charge (POA). *Excludes acupuncture treatments: If required, this is charged on top of the consultation fee at an additional £20.
  • Acupuncture
    £70 per session (acupuncture treatment plus flow up consultation) or, £240 Course of 4 acupuncture sessions - This is paid at the first of the course of four, and includes the follow up consultation fee.
  • Herbal Blends
    These are charged individually depending on amount and herbs used. Prices can be given before blends are made, but as they are created bespoke to the individual, refunds are not possible afterwards.
  • Insurance Forms
    £16 All fees must be paid to Green balance, and then reclaimed from the insurance company. Forms will be completed, and returned to you for checking and forwarding to the insurance company.
